Explore Jersey Jack Pinball Machines
Jersey Jack Pinball (JJP) holds to a simple standard across its catalog — every machine is assembled in the USA — and that held true even for limited spinoffs like the 75th Anniversary Edition of its debut Wizard of Oz machine, opened for pre-order in November 2013. Capped at 1,500 units and priced at $9,000, the anniversary run added four new playfield pieces over the standard release, molded castle walls around the Witch’s lair, a 3D sculpted twister, lollipop targets, and a sculpted Toto, along with red cabinet treatments and a numbered topper.
The press update about this release does make clear that production of these units will take place after all pre-ordered standard and Limited Edition units have shipped, putting the likely production time for the 75th at this next Summer. That also happens to be the same time that The Hobbit pinball should be hitting production, according to the latest info. While the units will cost more than the Emerald City LEs – $9000 MSRP for the 75th – this will be due to some additions to the playfield. According to the update:
This game comes with 4 custom toys/playfield additions, beautiful red treatments, a shaker motor, a new topper, and will be numbered.
According to the flyer, those toys are : Molded castle walls (where the Witch’s Castle mini-playfield is), 3D Sculpted Twister, Lollipop Targets and a Sculpted Toto
If you want their Invisiglass, that also will run for an additional cost. Interest in this must be pretty high – usually when a limited edition pin is announced, companies like Stern have kept the numbers low – 100, 250 or 500. For the 75th they plan on making 1500 of them, so enough can go around.
